How to Create Balance

 ↡ FINDING BALANCE ↡ Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed by your own schedule wishing you had more balance in your life? How about simply just finding time for the things you want to create time for?  I often hear people saying, "You have to give something up to get balance." I'm gonna throw a curve ball and say the opposite actually...how about just one concept, one way of tweaking the brain toward finding fulfillment in what BALANCE means to you. The minute I switched my brain to leading with intention and purpose, was a pivotal moment for me. I remember being a newer stylist, sitting around and waiting for the busy bus to roll in. I sat around sulking, so wrapped in my thoughts about not being busy, that I kept myself BUSY with what I felt I didn't have...balance. ⇟Sleep on it⇟ Do you suffer from lack of sleep like me? I'm just gonna come right out and say it...I'm not perfect. I suffer from sleep deprivation and at times its no laughing matter. So what is the solution to getting better sleep? Since I've tried almost everything under the moon, I feel like this blog is mostly to hold ME accountable and YOU to be entertained by some of my ridiculous conclusions. I know you're probably gonna think I'm nuts, but this is how I come up with most if my new ideas. Seriously...like 99.9% of what keeps me up at night is due to brainstorming my next reincarnation so to speak. Do you want to know what percentage I actually put to use? About .01%. How to stop Procrastinating

⇟Today is the day! ⇟ The day I'm going to step outside of my comfort zone and choose to do things a little differently. I'm talking about procrastination...which I have Mastered throughout the years.  Why do we procrastinate?  It's the world we've created, partake in, and thrive off of...think about it. I have not only learned to develop, but now thrive when I wait till the last minute to create.  Now I am no expert and this is all an observation through years of stress, late nights, self-pity, and YEP...procrastination.  Sooooo....now comes the time to prepare yourself to NOT procrastinate. Lets jot things down in list form to keep it simple! 1. Create space to plan. Make a commitment you cant refuse by setting a reoccurring event for yourself alone! Hey, I didn't say this would be easy, but common we are all given the same amount of time every day. Make this a priority and set your ongoing date, say once a week, to quietly slip away fo...
